G is out of surgery and all went as expected. NS is very happy with how the procedure progressed. She is resting comfortably in ICU and has an awesome nursing team. Multiple drugs including antibiotics, steroids, and pain meds are being infused.
She has only been in her room for a couple hours and has been rounded on multiple times by physicians. Only one bout of vomiting has occurred which is reassuring. Her pain seems to be stabilized for now and that makes mom feels very good.
Our hope is to have a decent night's sleep after a very stressful day. A big thank you goes out to everyone who sent supportive messages throughout the day. It made such a huge difference.
